Earl Tongol worked for more than a year in the marketing and advertising division of a Pampanga-based conglomerate predominantly engaged in automotive ventures. In September 2009, he was encouraged to do public service and got his feet wet by joining the Local Government Unit of the City of San Fernando.
He earned a pre-med degree at the University of Santo Tomas in 2008. At present, he is enrolled at the Ateneo de Manila University Graduate School of Business (Clark Campus) under the Ateneo-Regis MBA Program.
His works appeared in the pages of school papers (Gabay Eskwela, Batingaw, Momentum), broadsheets (The Philippine Daily Inquirer), magazines (Cradle), educational supplements (Damayan) and company publications (Growing Together, Cars and Lifestyle).
